Myths of switching to clean deodorant.

For an area of your body that's so small, there seems to be an overwhelming number of rumours circulating about how to take care of your underarms. #letsbefrank, it reeks of misinformation. Here are the myths about switching to clean deodorant, busted.

Myth 1: There is a purging process when you switch to clean

It's not purging, babe. When you use aluminium, you're blocking your sweat ducts. When you go aluminium-free, you're no longer blocking them, so your body does its natural thing. That might mean more sweat at first. But this does not mean you will smell more. It'll settle down after a while as your body adjusts. When switching to a deodorant without aluminium salts, it can take a few weeks to adjust. Worth it, though.

Myth 2: There are ingredients that stop you from smelling

Kind of. Your sweat doesn't actually smell. It's the bacteria on your skin that interacts with sweat to cause odour. Less bacteria, fewer smells.

Myth 3: You need to use more product for clean deodorant to work

Not true. A clean deodorant works as effectively as any other roll-on or stick. Minus the irritating and gland-blocking ingredients. Apply the same amount you would normally.

Myth 4: Clean deodorant isn't suitable for sensitive skin

Quite the opposite. A good clean formula is made with naturally derived ingredients and safe synthetics to keep underarm skin soft, hydrated, and free from irritation. No matter your skin type.

Meet my four new deodorants

I've just launched a full deodorant range, and there's one for every babe. No aluminium salts in any of them.

AHA Deodorant — for bumps and ingrowns. My blend of glycolic, salicylic, and mandelic acid works overtime to tackle pesky pit problems, while niacinamide keeps things balanced. Smells like eucalyptus and mint.

Ceramide Deodorant — for pits that need a drink. Ceramides and hyaluronic acid support your skin barrier and lock in moisture, while grapefruit seed oil keeps things fruity fresh. Smells like juicy peach.

Caffeine Deodorant — your morning pit-me-up. Coffee seed oil, shea butter, and cacao butter soften and nourish delicate underarm skin while keeping BO at bay. Smells like vanilla latte.

Niacinamide Deodorant — for even, smooth underarms. Niacinamide helps even tone and support your skin barrier, while cyperus rotundus extract works to keep things silky smooth. Smells like sophisticated berry.
