Noticed uneven skin tone, texture, or little bumps on your skin? The Moon isn’t in retrograde, you’re probably in need of some AHAs. These gentle acids can help to smooth out the skin by gobbling up the dead layer of skin cells, while hydrating and firming at the same time.
My Resurfacing AHA Toner is a powerful essence packed with AHAs like glycolic and lactic acids, but also niacinamide for future-proofing skin and licorice root to fight hyperpigmentation and dark spots.
Questions are only natural, so first up — yes, you in the back.
How often do I use the AHA Toner? Can you use AHA toner daily?
I’m gentle, but I’m still an active product.
If you are new to actives, particularly AHAs, I suggest introducing this toner slowly into your routine, using it 1-2 times a week at night at first. Once your skin feels comfortable, gradually increase use as your skin builds up tolerance.
So, for best results, start slow and build up to using this 2-3 times a week on alternative days.
Should you use AHA in the morning or night?
Your call, babe. It can be applied in both your day or night time routine.
For your daytime routine, use after cleansing and follow with our Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Remember to apply SPF after.
For your nighttime routine, use after cleansing and follow with Super Ceramide Night Cream.
Can you leave AHA overnight?
Absolutely. Just make sure that after applying the toner you’re following it up with hydration, like my Hyaluronic Acid and Super Ceramide Night Cream to replenish the skin. In the morning, remember to wear SPF.
Can I use AHA and niacinamide together?
I’m three steps ahead of you. I’ve included niacinamide within the formula to give a double hit of barrier-boosting goodness.
If you’d like to layer with more niacinamide after applying my toner, be my guest.
Do you use moisturiser or toner first?
Timing is everything.
After cleansing, saturate a cotton pad and swipe me over the face, neck and decolletage, avoiding the eyes and delicate areas.
Follow with your hydrating serums like my Hyaluronic Acid, then seal the deal with a nourishing moisturiser like my Super Ceramide Night Cream. If you’re about to step into the daylight, apply SPF at the end.
Always do a patch test first.
